Getting myself ready to go anywhere is quite a challenge with a 6-month-old baby. It is especially difficult because I am – admittedly – a girly girl. I like makeup (a lot – I worked for Clinique prior to my current career) and I take pride in my appearance – not just for me, but for my husband. I feel it is extremely important for women to put effort into how they present themselves – especially after becoming mothers. It matters in terms of your daily interactions at work and overall well-being. I can’t think of any woman who didn’t feel a little sexier after applying the perfect shade of lipstick.

This stuff is amazeballs! I apply this after moisturizer and before concealer and powder foundation. It keeps my makeup from oxidizing too much, which tends to happen a lot in the Florida heat. It will keep your makeup looking great all day, even with your hectic mommy schedule.
Makeup Forever Pro Finish Multi Use Powder Foundation
This powder foundation is absolutely wonderful. It is so easy to apply and people always think I am wearing liquid foundation when I wear this. It is that good! It is a little pricey, but well worth the investment with my busy schedule.
This concealer is awesome for everything – under eye, blemishes, anything. PLUS, it is waterproof! I cannot tell you how great that is for me. I wear contact lenses, so that is one reason. The other reason….well…..I tend to cry a lot thanks to postpartum hormones – especially when my son goes to daycare. It is a lifesaver to wear concealer that doesn’t come off just because I shed a few mommy tears!
